Call Server
The iPECS Call Server is at the heart of the iPECS platform. This highly reliable purpose-built server controls and maintains communications between end-points. You can select the Call Server to best serve your needs based on the size of the business from 2 to 1000 users.

Thanks to the native IP structure, you can deploy iPECS LIK with remote offices and nomadic employees. Branch offices and traveling employees connect to HQ anywhere there is an IP network. The unique RSGM solution gives home office workers full access to iPECS LIK. Link as many as 250 systems in a single common communications network. With iPECS LIK there is no need for any employee or office to be stranded on a communications island.
Gateways
Modular iPECS Gateways, which easily connect to the Call Server over an IP network, interface to an array of network resources including Primary Rate and Basic Rate ISDN, Analogue PSTN lines, SIP and H323 VoIP trunks and even traditional analogue and digital telephones. Gateways can themselves be located any where there is an IP network, the nature of the system makes way for a distributed achitecture virtually eliminating any geographic boundaries saving you money and increasing productivity.
Handsets
The Call Server makes available an extensive set of telephony features. From basics (Hold, Transfer, etc.) to more advanced features (Least Cost Routing, Incoming call Distribution, SIP trunking, etc.) you can easily access features and resources, often through a single button on your terminal. iPECS offers an array of terminals so each user has the right communications tool for the job. Select from any of the LIP-8000 series desk-top phones, DECT over IP, iPECS Wireless LAN phones, PC / PDA / Symbian Virtual phones, SLT or even use your Nokia or Apple iPhone via the SIP client as appropriate for each user. Even digital phones from your legacy LG-Nortel system can be employed.
Applications
iPECS LIK AIM (Application Interface Messaging) technology combines industry standard TAPI with advanced information and control capabilities. Choose from a variety of 3rd party developer applications from Ericsson LG (LG-Nortel) partners. Or, select from a host of business ready applications directly from LG-Ericsson including soft-phones, PC Attendant, Network Management, Unified Communications, Unified Messaging and more. iPECS LIK also provides perfect feature sets for hotel business. Latest PMS integration with Micros Fidelio which is a global market leader in hotel industry makes iPECS much more attractive.
Mobility
iPECS provides WiFi and IP-DECT mobility options. Set-up a network of WiFi Access Points (APs) for an in-house wireless solution or if a DECT (Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telephony) wireless solution best suits your business environment, the iPECS provides an integrated IP-DECT solution. Both the Ericsson LG WiFi handset and the DECT handset allow your staff to retain all feature functionality available on their desktop phone, whilst on the move.
